Heat Pump Program Coordinator

Elizabeth discovered her passion for housing justice in 2018 after discovering that the house she had been living in was unsafe. She set out to learn how to build healthy, safe homes and completed Oregon Tradeswomen’s pre-apprenticeship class, where she learned valuable construction skills. Before joining Verde, she worked as a carpenter specializing in building high-quality, energy-efficient homes. As the Cooling Portland Program Coordinator for Verde, Elizabeth continues to advocate for housing justice by installing portable heat pumps to create safer, more comfortable homes for our community. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys climbing mountains, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with her dog, Zander, and cat, Scamp.
