Cooling Portland Coordinator

Matt (he/him) is a third-generation Mexican-American who was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Portland has been his home for the past seven years. He has experience working in the non-profit sector, advocating for youth and helping with hunger relief. He is passionate about supporting and contributing to one’s community, where inclusion, equity, and diversity are key building blocks. He looks forward to continuing to build that as a Cooling Portland Program Coordinator.

Matt spends his free time staying active, whether climbing, hiking, finding watering holes, or playing soccer.
